So, Buffalo wings originated in Buffalo, New York. For real. That's where they get the name. I know this from watching the Food Network, probably some show like Unwrapped, with Mark Summers (of Double Dare fame. I just keep waiting for that green slime to pour down on him).
In a recent (1/2 hour ago) conversation with Jon, he mentioned he was in Buffalo, opening for Eddie Money, and he knew buffalo wings were from Buffalo, as he had been to the very restaurant where wild wings were born. He said they were great, he ate a plateful.
But I have to ask: Is anyone else impressed with my random knowledge, or does everyone know the wild wings were born in upstate New York?
