I suppose there are cast members more tolerable than others, but, on the whole, blech.
And then, I found this interview with director Chris Weitz. Thank you Entertainment Weekly.
He's smart and savvy, gives credit where it's due (the cinematographer, Javier Aguirresarobe), speaks candidly about the disaster his last film was (The Golden Compass), and is refreshingly self-deprecating (he makes it clear that he is not Princess Diana).
