James: Unmasked

And now James Best,
co-writer of American Nobody,
the J in JV Debate Club,
spills his secrets:

Me: Are you listening?

James: Yeah.

Me: What's the best movie you've seen this summer?

James: Moon. Next to that Star Trek.

Me: Hmmm...

James: Not that Harry Potter wasn't great...

Me: Whatever. What was the worst?

James: Oh, Wolverine. Definitely. Transformers was better.

Me: Favorite American Nobody Moment?

James: Probably the response to the Adam Lambert sketch. It was exhilarating to hear such a response to a piece I thought was funny but just wasn't sure about. Oh, and I love Sky's Man on the Street.

Me: What are your hopes for the show?

James: I hope that we're able to branch out and experiment with different content that people enjoy. I'm not a person who likes to alienate with his comedy. I want to draw people in. I like to laugh together. I hope the show continues like that.

Me: That's really beautiful, James. I love it when you talk feelings.

James: Alright.

Me: Okay, last question. What's one more thing you have to do before the summer is over?

James: This summer has been roadtripless and it needs to be rectified.
