Personal Spooks

Ok, so I have a strange confession. I'm afraid of cows. Livestock, in general. But mostly, cows. I don't know how this originated. I lived in Eastern Utah for a while and I used to walk by these fields full of suspiciously docile cows. And everyday, they'd raise their big moo heads to look me over, and I had this feeling that if there weren't any witnesses, those little dairy darlings would trample my body and eat my inside parts.

Is my fear unreasonable? Sure. Unfounded? Probably. But I'm not alone in strange unexplainable fears. Valerie, who posts here often, is afraid of tsunamis. That's right. Freak waves.

I have another friend, Andy, who is afraid of real, live zombies. He doesn't believe they exist but he doesn't believe they won't not exist.

So what irrational thing are you afraid of? Jon, what spooks you, amigo? Taco Bell? Tricycles? Poly/Cotton blend?
