The band was awesome and I was having a lot of fun with my new songs. I can't wait to get out on the road and play some more.
There aren't very many stories about it other than that.... No, wait, I just remembered one. So, we flew on this cramped American Airlines flight on Wed. night. I was cramped between a couple of uptight hipsters and in front of me, manager Judy was stuck between a cracked out rocker and a big sleeping dude.
I tried to read and chat a little with the people around me, but they weren't having any of it. So, I ended up watching a couple of shows I have stored on my iPhone. I'd look up from time to time to see judy chatting away with the cracked out rocker. Nothing out of the ordinary. She likes to talk. But, I'd see her look back periodically with this bewildered expression on her face--like the kind of look you'd expect to see on someone who had actually witnessed a pig that flew.
I was too involved with my tv show at the time to think too much about it, but as we're getting off the plane Judy asks me if I know the band Motorhead. I looked at her and was like "yeah!" She said "that's Phil Campbell from Motorhead" Then she started laughing and telling me how bizzare the whole trip was.
The funniest part is that last night he called her up randomly to go hang out while he was in LA. I said "Judy, you'd better go tap dat"
