And Now It's 2013

A lot has happened since 2011, when last anyone posted on this blog:

We have elected a new president.
That Red-Bull guy jumped FROM SPACE and didn't die.
The Olympics thrilled us with their testament to human achievement.
and, I decided that I do like guacamole, after all.

So, all in all, it's been a pretty big couple of years.

Oh yeah, and Jon Peter Lewis AUDITIONED FOR THE VOICE!

Find out what went down on The Voice, tonight and tomorrow, 8/7c on NBC.

February? Seriously?

February was the last post? That's outrageous.

Okay. There's a new project on the horizon for James and Valerie (me).

Here's a preview.

It's an EP, not ET

Have you heard?

Jon has an eponymous EP availbe for purchase on iTunes. I'm not going to strong arm you here, but, it's great, and if you want to do yourself a favor, pick it up.

Physical copies (an album you can hold in your hot little hand) will be available next week(ish). If you're not already, follow Jon on Twitter for more up-to-the-minute updates.

Our very own James Best co-wrote a song on this album, and it's just lovely.

Buy the album, write a review, and be a part of this BIG-TIME-FUN.

Also, if you haven't checked it out already, there's a new episode of American Nobody up, and, to make up for the long absence, it's a doozy.

On Monday, with no Tonight Show

So, we've all been pretty rattled by Conan's abrupt departure from the Tonight Show.

I adore Michael Ian Black, but I don't know if it would ever occur to me to refer to him as society's reality touchstone.

However, his well reasoned argument about the relative absurdity of the public outcry over Conan's fate is worth a read.

When Did Conan O'Brien become Norma Rae?

See with your Eyes

I don't know anything about music. In my line, you don't have to.
